Conditions of Entry
We are thrilled to welcome you to the 7th Annual PDX Drive-in Movie Spectacular!
Before you arrive on site, we want to make sure that everyone understands our guidelines and Conditions of Entry to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable time. When purchasing a ticket to the event, you and your party have agreed to these conditions for the safety and health of all involved. By purchasing a ticket to the PDX Drive-in Movie Spectacular! you are agreeing to follow all policies of the Portland Expo Center. Failure to comply with any of our policies could result in being asked to leave the event.
Car Capacity
Carload Tickets are good for up to 5 people per vehicle. Have more than 5 people in your vehicle? Please add a pedestrian/bicycle ticket to your order for each additional person.
No Outside Food & Beverage Allowed
No outside food and beverage (including alcohol) is allowed at the PDX Drive-in Movie Spectacular! This includes food from delivery services like Uber Eats or Grubhub. Your support of our food and beverage operations makes it possible for us to host this event.
All Attendees Must Arrive by 8:15 p.m. to be Guaranteed a Parking Space
This event is anticipated to sellout. With limited capacity, any open parking spaces will be sold if attendees do not arrive by 8:15 p.m. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
No pets allowed
Service Animals are always welcome, however we do ask that pets stay home.
Some Vehicle Basics:
Speed Limit is 5 mph. Please follow all instructions from the security team for entry and exiting. Refrain from honking your horn during the event unless asked to by our master of ceremonies. Do not drink and drive – always assign a designated driver. Be mindful of draining your car battery, leave lights off and we can contact AAA for you if you need a jump.
Leaving Early
We discourage anyone from leaving the event early so as not to disrupt the other patrons, however, we understand that emergencies may require you to need to leave early. Call 503-736-5206 and our Security team will meet you at your space to safely help you exit with the least amount of disruption.
Prohibited Items:
No weapons, knives, firearms, pepper spray, fireworks, or weapons of any kind. No illegal substances, drugs or drug paraphernalia, laser pointers or pens, drones, balloons or other items that could otherwise impede the enjoyment of the event by your neighbors.

What are the dates of the PDX Drive-in Movie Spectacular?
The 7th Annual PDX Drive-in Movie Spectacular! Presented by the Portland Expo Center and the Hollywood Theatre will run Thursday – Saturday, July 29th through August 28th, 2021. Visit www.expomovies.com for our series line-up, buy tickets and more.Do you have any COVID-19 Restrictions in place this year?
The State of Oregon has lifted all COVID-19 restrictions, including required masking and physical distancing for fully vaccinated individuals. We will continue with our enhanced cleaning protocols throughout the series. We ask that all attendees be respectful of others who continue to mask and practice physical distancing.How much is admission?
Carload tickets are $40.00 (plus service charge) for carloads up to 5 people. Those walking, riding their bicycles or taking MAX, the entry fee is $10.00 per person. Space for car parking is limited, so buy your tickets early! Day of car tickets are sold on a first come, first serve basis. In order to provide the best sight-lines possible, large vehicles will be placed accordinglyHow do I purchase advanced tickets?
Advanced tickets will be available for purchase on Wednesday, July 14th at 10 a.m. through www.expomovies.com. Tickets sell-out fast, so purchase early!
What time do the movies start?
Movies will begin at dusk (roughly 8:30 p.m.). Gates open at 7:00 p.m. – we highly recommend arriving early to get a good spot, get comfortable and enjoy the pre-movie entertainment!
I have a small compact car. What if I am stuck behind a big-rig?
We have our lot divided into different sections for various sized vehicles. Upon arrival, your vehicle will be measured and directed where to park according to size.
How do I get audio for the movies?
For cars, you can pipe sound through your FM radio. For pedestrians, bikes and transit riders, there will be speakers outside thanks to Stew Dodge Sound. If you are concerned that your car battery will run down, you can download an FM radio app to your
smartphone or bring a portable FM radio. Additionally, we have outside speakers that can be enjoyed from outside your car.Does your venue accept debit/credit cards?
Yes. Our venue accepts all major debit/credit cards and cash. No checks will be accepted.
Do you have a concession stand or serve any food?
Yes! We will have options for food and beverage service at the PDX Drive-in Movie Spectacular! We will have popcorn, candy, cocktails and various food selections.Am I allowed to bring my own food and drink with me?
Outside food and beverage is not allowed at the PDX Drive-in Movie Spectacular!Is alcohol allowed?
Outside alcohol is not permitted, however, we will have beer, wine and cocktails available for purchase.
Can I bring my pet with me?
Service animals are always welcome at the PDX Drive-in Movie Spectacular!, however we kindly ask that all pets remain at home.
What is there to do before the movie?
We will have pre-show music entertainment before each show. Bands will be announced as we get closer to the event.We’re interested in becoming a sponsor, who should we contact?
