Listen To Your Mother is a live stage performance featuring local people telling stories about mothering and motherhood. Hilarious, heartbreaking, and everything in between, each show strives to encapsulate the everyday joys and heartaches along with the complexities and nuances that make mothers and motherhood what it is. We strive to build a feeling of community and connection through storytelling.

This is the 10th year comprised of local writers who audition for the show, the cast is chosen by our board and are coached and practice to read their stories on stage. This is the first time participating in a production or even writing anything for public consumption for most of our presenters.

"It is by far my favorite time to connect with women, mothers and cherish what and who mothers are. More than ever, I feel that this type of community and connection is vital." shares Kendra Johnson, this years producer.
