The Gonzaga Wind Ensemble, led by composer and conductor Robert Spittal, is renowned for superior performances and innovative concerts featuring the finest in contemporary and traditional music.  On November 18, the Wind Ensemble will present the  Spokane premier if Spittal's "Diversions" for clarinet and wind ensemble, featuring clarinet soloist Shandra Helman.  Dr. Helman is Associate Professor of Clarinet & Saxophone and Woodwind Area Coordinator and a member of the Boise Philharmonic and the Principal Clarinet if the Idaho State-Civic Symphony.
