The CSUB Main Soccer Field is the primary home to the two-time MPSF Pacific Division winning CSUB men's soccer team and Roadrunner women's soccer. The facility has a variety of grandstand and field seating arrangements to accomodate 2,500 fans.
CSUB men's soccer set a single-game attendance record with a standing-room only crowd during their 2011 NCAA Tournament game vs. Saint Mary's. It was both the first NCAA Division I Tournament match for CSUB and the first hosted at The Main Soccer Field.
The field serves as the primary home to men's and women's soccer with an adjacent practice field to accomodate multiple teams.
The field itself is as well-kept as any in the nation. The natural-bermuda grass playing surface allows for one of the best playing surfaces in California. The soccer-only facility provides the chance for athletes to play on a well-kept surface that is not shared with any other sports.
